A protean career attitude is the most attractive and coping adjustment nowadays. Based on social exchange theory, this study empirically analyses association between affective organisational commitment for Malaysian hotel industry employees. It also examines COVID-19 situation’s retrospective repercussions uncertainty. The investigates moderating role of management relationship attitudes commitment. During pandemic, a cross-sectional survey was given to 403 managers working in four- or five-star hotels. data were analysed using structural equation modelling Smart-PLS. results showed that self-directed value-driven undermine Organisational significantly moderated In light this, essential when dealing with careers. Lastly, person’s practical implications are significant. People should have deal unpredictability, such as epidemic remain invincible over long run.
